If you received a letter from SilverScript saying you will have prescription benefits through SilverScript starting either August 1, 2014 or September 1, 2014, and you are having trouble using your benefits, please call SilverScript Customer Care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (855) 344-0938 (TTY – 711).

Attention all ERS mail order pharmacy users:Our plan’s mail-order service provides members with mail-order drugs using an “automatic refill” service. If you used our “automatic refill” service in the past, we automatically sent you a refill of your prescriptions when our records indicated that you were about to run out.However, starting in January 2014, CMS will require us to have your authorization before we can send you prescriptions. This change helps us ensure you only get the prescriptions you really need. This will apply to prescriptions that were called, faxed, or electronically prescribed by your doctor to our mail pharmacy. We may also need to get your authorization to send a refill by mail. We will not need your authorization to send orders you ask us for, whether it be a refill or a new prescription.

Please make sure we have a valid phone number on file for you by calling SilverScript Customer Care. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (855) 344-0938 (TTY – 711). If we do not have your contact information, you might not be able to confirm the shipment of your prescription, and could run out. Remember, your prescriptions will not be automatically shipped unless you confirm you still want to receive the order. This new policy will not affect refill reminder programs where you pick up prescriptions in person, and it will not apply to long–term care pharmacies that deliver prescription drugs. 

ERS has chosen SilverScript® Insurance Company to manage your HealthSelect Medicare Rx prescription drug plan. SilverScript Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Caremark, is an approved Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan provider.

Retail Pharmacy: You have access to a large nationwide Pharmacy Network with more than 68,000* pharmacies. These include retail, mail service, long-term care, home infusion, and Indian Health and Indian Tribal pharmacies. Find out if your pharmacy is in the network by using the Pharmacy locator tool.

EDS Pharmacy: You have access to a large network of pharmacies who have agreed to fill your 31-90 supply of long-term medication at the mail order price. These pharmacies are part of the Extended Days Supply (EDS) network. Contact SilverScript toll-free at (855) 344-0938 (TTY-711) to find out if your pharmacy is in the EDS network. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For a listing of the pharmacies in this network, please click on the EDS Pharmacy List  document under the documents tab.
